" LET'S DO IT AGAIN! "

SO SHOULD THE NBA CONSIDER A 66 GAME SEASON OVER AN 82 GAME SEASON FOR 2013?
Now consider this! Should the NBA consider of re-doing another 66 games season for next season for a second time? The season started on Christmas day and it didn't disappoint any one it's fans, including me!
Now who wasn't home watching the games all day on tv ?! We waited months for the lockout to end and The NBA to return especially on Christmas day which was like a gift to all it's fans like me!

Ok, so what they started later than expected and 16 games was shaved off the season. I didn't hear not one fan complain about seeing more games on TV every week, right?! It was cool to have the season end with basically every teams fighting for a playoff spots to the very end of the season and then to have the playoffs start without anything less than drama instead of the slow regular 82 game season, which seems to have teams drag themselves into the playoffs come May.The short season didn't a real neagtive effect on the players as much as I thought it would, some people may think that that the lockout effected some players getting hurt at the end of the season, but was it really that? or that lack of players non-commitment to maintain their fitness during the lockout?

Yes it makes better sense for the NBA to keep their 82 game season intact for finacial reasons. But trust me the NBA didn't hurt money wise, because the fans still came out to see their teams play and merchandise was at a all time high even with the shorter season than any other season. We don't look forward to preseason NBA games as we do preseason NFL games or MLB games, so to me it wouldn't matter much if they started the season again next December so that it wouldn't clash with NFL season. So by the time the NBA opens in Decemember the NFL will be already scheduling the playoffs for January, so it will be perfect! Think about this?! The NBA owned the Month of February giving way to Jeremy Lin aka "Linsanity" who bought the NBA fans to their feet,as a kid from Harvard took the hopeless nowhere Knicks, to suddendly playoff contenders. Not to take away from all the Jeremy Lin's record sales of Jeremy Lin's NBA merchandise which were flying off the shelves.

Lebron James had a phenominal MVP season the best of his career and the Chicago Bull still founds a way to win without Derick Rose making it as the #1 team in the east. The Bobcats were bad, I mean really Bad! But they will get the #1 pick in the NBA draft next month so they wil be ok for next season. As far as the rest of the league, the good teams were basically GOOD! and the bad teams were well basically BAD! But again the shortened season didn't hurt the NBA or it's fans not one bit!

So I say bring back the 66 game season next year in hopes that we've have another great season as last year! But this is all a pipe dream and the 82 season will be back, but no matter what i will be a fan again whether it's 66 or 82 games, but you never know what the NBA has up their sleves for next year. I guess we will have to wait and see?!

Can't wait!!!!!!
