Christian Louboutin's (Red Bottom's) Must have? or Have not?
The great debate will linger on whether or not Christian Louboutin's shoes are a MUST HAVE? or Just more HYPE? I asked a few of my female "fashionable" friends and asked the question. The responses I got were pretty honest. Karen T. from (Brooklyn) says "If you can afford them get them, if not then stay in your financial lane!"The majority of the women stated the same that though they were nice to look at, they all agreed that the shoes were over priced and should be purchased if you can only afford them! The women felt that there were way more afforable shoes out there that looked just as nice or even nicer as CLB's or aka "Red Bottoms" shoes and that they felt that the shoes were more of a status symbol than anything else. Starting at $500 and ending at $6,300.
So what do you think? Over Hyped? or a Must Have?
I agree with the other ladies, it's a hype. There are other brands like Calvin Klein and Michael Kors whose shoe lines range from low end to high end so that all ladies can enjoy a taste of the high life. Not all "Red Bottoms" look like they are worth price. It's all about supply and demand. Once the hype is gone he will make a line for Target
ReplyDeleteyes, I totally agree! There are much more afforadable women's shoe brands out there that are as much nice looking as CLB's and don't cost as much. I have to say Jessica Simpon's shoe line is pretty impressive and afforable too! They offer plenty of sexy shoes and the most I've seen Jessica's shoes go for was $49.99 at a retail store.
