" IT'S SHOWTIME!!! "

" THE MAGIC DIDDY KINGDOM "

Magic Johnson is still quick off the dribble — even in the business world. Just four months after Comcast announced the NBA great would be one of four owners of new minority-focused stations guaranteed distribution in 8 million homes, Johnson’s Aspire channel is up and running. It has a staff, headquarters and programming. “Johnson was very smart, he did a lot of research,” a source told The Post.

“He’d been working on his plan for 18 months.” Aspire has signed L’Oreal and Nationwide as advertisers, bagged carriage with Time Warner Cable, bringing it to 10 million households by year’s end, and has handed ad sales to Atlanta-based Intermedia’s GMC TV.

It’s a different story at Revolt, another of the four Comcast-created channels, which is owned by P.Diddy, sources said. Revolt, with just six months before its scheduled debut in early 2013, is still trying to pin down a business model and a precise programming direction. Revolt President Andy Schuon, an experienced executive with a background at MTV and Live Nation, has yet to announce any key hires for the channel.

In a YouTube video, P.Diddy described the channel as a service for breaking new artists and expressed an aim to make it the No.1 music service in TV. “At Revolt, they’re trying to figure out how to do it economically,” said a source. “Little has been announced, other than it’s a music service — but you wouldn’t want to bet against P.Diddy’s marketing prowess given his success with Ciroc vodka.”

“But can it translate to TV?” he asked. Comcast, which agreed to get the four stations up and running as part of its deal with regulators when it bought NBCUniversal, also awarded channels to: Constantino Schwartz and his “Baby First America” and director Robert Rodriguez and his Latino-focused channel, “El Rey.” “The Revolt network is scheduled to launch in 2013 as planned,” said a spokesperson.

" GET THE LOOK FOR CHEAP!!! "

GUCCI SEQUINNED DRESS $5,895.00

ZARA SEQUINNED DRESS $ 159.00

ALEXANDER WANG CROPPED JACKET $ 745.00

REBECCA TAYLOR CROPPED JACKET $ 118.00

" IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT, GET THE NEXT BEST THING!!! "

Want The latest in fashion, but don't want to spend as much to get  it???? My answer to this is look around! For as many high fashion items on 5th Ave, there are just as good items to compare without paying the 5th ave prices. Every woman loves a nice shoe, bag or even a nice dress. But what if that $6,000 Gucci dress isn't in your price range? Then shop places like Zara or Rebecca Wang, or Anne Klein, or H&M, or even Century 21 to find the less expensive styles that are usually on sale that you crave for. Why spend so much of your hard earned money on just one item when you go to a less expensive place to get more bang for your buck! The key is to not spend all your money on just one item at the most expensive clothing store when you can simply hold off on that expensive purchase and shop around at other low end places and get more for your money. Be a smart shopper and you can look just as great as those who spend more money on the most expensive clothes.

" THE EX FILES "

" VH1 NEW REALITY DRAMA "HOLLYWOOD EXCES" WEDNESDAYS @ 9PM est."
VH1's "Hollywood Exes” does enough familiar things well to make itself into a slightly better than average “let’s stare at the rich” reality show. No indelible characters, no real jerks. The five exes are Nicole Murphy, divorced from Eddie Murphy; Jessica Canseco, divorced from Jose; Sheree Fletcher, divorced from Will Smith; Andrea Kelly, ex-wife of R. Kelly; and Mayte Garcia, ex-wife of Prince.

What may be most shocking is that with all this potential star gossip in the air, none of the ex-wives spend much time dissing, or dishing on, their former spouses. It steers much more into the present lives of the women, and while that may seem like a risky move, it serves the show well. A one-liner about Eddie Murphy might carry a scene, but ultimately the show isn’t going to work unless we care about these women as characters, not as gossipers. The five “Hollywood Exes” also more or less get along. The disagreements never get anywhere near the point where they become the focal point of the show.Instead, they mostly talk about things like money and men.

The biggest drama is Andrea Kelly moving from Chicago to L.A. and temporarily leaving her children behind. Sheree Fletcher is adjusting to her new life as the first lady of new husband Terrell Fletcher’s Christian church. The wild card turns out to be an ex, Jose Canseco. No surprise there. Or, really, anywhere else.

" THE UN-TOUCHABLE TORY!!!! "

" 2012 WILL BE THE YEAR TORY BURCH BECOMES THE LEADER OF THE PACK "

As I travel on my daily commutes to work in  The N.Y.C. I see more and more women with a sexy new line of handbags and flat shoe with a rather unique gold platted "T" logo on the front of their hand bag and shoes apparel which stands out like medal of honor. It reminds me of summer of 1991, when another american designer by the name of  "Coach"  lead the way in women's handbag fashion with their most recognizible "C" pattern design. So for many years Coach has made a solid name of themselves in the urban fashion world for over 20 years. But just like any fashion trend Coach has somewhat taken a backseat to new fresh faces of the fashion game, making Coach the least fashionable name in the game making way for a new player by the name of Tory Burch. Hey, I know that I'm a man and we are suppose to like only men things which is true. But I honestly love women's fashion and I love to see women wear nice things such a sexy bags, shoes and accessories, and Tory Burch is now that top fashion design that women want NOW! Tory Burch does not dissappoint at all when it come to her line of shoes, bags, and other classy accessories. So when I say she goes all out with her line, trust me she does and if you don't believe me?! On your next train ride into the city look around and check out many women wearing Tory Burch hand bags or shoes and then you will believe me!

" WHY?! WHY NOT!!! "

 " THE W.H.Y. "
THE WALLY/HERMES-YATCH IN FRANCE PRICE TAG $160 MILLION, WOW!!!

At the Abu Dhabi Yacht Show last week, design plans were unveiled for a so-called "moving island" yacht called the WHY 58x38. Price tag: $160 million. The boat's specifications are impressive - at 190 feet long, guest areas reach 36,000 square feet. The three floors have space for 12 guests and 20 crew members, and the boat features a 426-feet long promenade, a spa, a library, a 'beach,' an 82-meter swimming pool, and a helipad. The ship is a collaboration between Monaco-based yacht brand Wally and Parisian fashion empire Hermès, hence the "W" and "H" of the WHY. The boat is designed to be environmentally friendly, using far less fuel that other yachts of a similar size, in part thanks to wide use of solar panels on the ship.

" NBA PLAYERS HAVE ADDED MORE FLARE TO THEIR POST GAME INTERVIEWS WITH NEW LOOK GLASSES ADDING TO THEIR POST GAME ATTIRE "

Anyone who have been watching the NBA playoffs this season have seen some of the post game interviews with players wearing some uniquely cool and bold color designer frames which has sent the fashion world blogs (including mine!) into a frenzy. This fashion trend has become a common  "Must have" for all players like (Russell Westbrook, Lebron James, Amar'e Stoudimire, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Rajon Rondo) and others who have followed this ecentric style of eye wear. But don't dare think for a minute that these are some cheap plasic glasses picked up at the mall by your little sister or brother. These player's frames have been priced from $295-$1000 and better! No sure if this trend will last in the NBA or will other players in pro sports will follow in suit?! But for now it is the "In" thing to do after games and we will be paying attention to those post game interviews for the rest of the year to see what these players eyewear will be like as these players are known for showing some crazy looking pieces.

" USHER'ING A NEW YEAR "

" USHER DELIVERS ANOTHER HOT ALBUM, AND IS AGAIN SETTING THE STAGE FOR HIS PROMINENCE OF MUSIC DOMINANCE "

Counting every step? Hoping that the next one/ Brings me closer to the man I was." So confesses Usher on the reflective title track of Looking 4 Myself, out today! Could it be that, on his seventh album in 18 years, Usher Raymond IV is suffering from an existential identity crisis? Never fear, folks: The almighty star confidently displays various sides of himself, proving that he can be all things to all people with another R&B-pop blockbuster. He's the Ibiza-ready club kid on electro thumpers like current single "Scream" and the Swedish House Mafia-produced "Euphoria" that build on the success of "OMG," "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" and "Without You" (with David Guetta). He's also the silky-smooth loverman on ambient slow jams like the hit "Climax" and the P.M. Dawn-esque "Dive," showing, as he lays on his creamy falsetto, that he's a better singer than ever (despite occasionally toying with Auto-Tune). Then he's the old-school soul man on the funky James Brown-ish "Twisted" and "Sins of My Father," which, produced by Amy Winehouse collaborator Salaam Remi, inspires Usher to look for the Marvin Gaye inside of him.

" THE ODB LIVES ON "

" Mr. RUSSELL JONES AKA THE O.D.B OF WU TANG CLAN WILL GET A BIO'EPIC MOVIE BASED ON HIS LIFE "

Growing up with Russell Jones in the East New York Section of Brooklyn was a crazy thing. Not only was he a wild child, but Russell was such an outspoken person. I call him Russell because that was his name he was given by his mother before he committed his life over to The 5 percent nation of Islam changing his name to Unique Ason. But no matter what name he had I always knew him as Russell. I knew that Russell would make it big in anything that he did, because he was such a colorful character of a  person growing up around the way. But it all hit me in 1992 when I first saw him as of on the elite members of The Wu Tang Clan, trust me I wasn't surprised. Russell was a part of Hip Hop's most storied rap groups in history. He had the potential to many bigger things in the future to come for the music industry, but his life was cut short at the young age of 35 in 2004. Now I' happy to hear that a movie based on his life will be made to tell the story of his life.

Michael K. Williams of The Wire, Boardwalk Empire and Community will play the late Ol Dirty Bastard in upcoming film called "Dirty White Boy". The movie is based on the true story of Jarred Weisfeld, the kid who left a VH1 internship at age 22 to become ODB’s manager Joaquin Baca-Asa has been listed as the project’s director. The project is his directorial debut, but Asay is no stranger to film, having acted as cinematographer and director of photography for a number of films, including Super Troopers. Brent Hoff, co-founder of the McSweeney’s-published DVD magazine Wholphin, is penning the original screenplay. Both Weisfeld and ODB’s mom, Cherry Jones, will cooperate in the production of the film. Sources say as for 2 members of the Wu Tang Clan ( Raekwon, GZA) will not be planing on being in the film.
