"YESSSS SEX IT'S GOOD FOR THE MIND BODY AND SOUL!"

" THANK GOD SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME ABOUT SEX!"

According to Dr. Brian Clement, N.M.D., Ph.D., L.N., "Everything we do is sexual. Even this conversation is sexual." Though that's news to us, we get what he means: Sex is as fundamental and natural an urge as eating and sleeping.  "Sexual vitality is important to a healthy body and to mental well-being, but social and religious oppression has turned it into something bad," states Dr. Clement, the director of the renowned Hippocrates Health Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. Clement's latest book, "7 Keys to Lifelong Sexual Vitality," co-authored with the Hippocrates Institute's co-director, his wife Anna Maria Clement, N.M.D., Ph.D., L.N., strives to debunk sexual stigma and put us  on track to having a great sex life -- for our entire lives. And that doesn't mean resorting to Viagra or any other drug. "That's the synthetic answer," he says. "Most of the Viagra taken is by young guys aged 20 to 28 using it as a recreational drug. By the time they're 35 or 40 they won't be able to perform sexually. Our book talks about sustainable intimacy without the mental, religious or social stigma and indoctrination." He's not talking about a sexual free-for-all, though: "Promiscuous sex is as damaging to the psyche as no sex," says Dr. Clement. According to the book, a healthy lifestyle aids sexual health. In return, healthy sex strengthens the immune system, relieves stress and depression, lowers blood pressure and more. "Sex floods the body with good hormones," says Dr. Clement. "Your self-image improves, your mental well-being improves. Sexual repression causes many mental health problems."
