Jay-Z, Kanye West headline The 2012 BET award show
The upcoming 2012 BET Awards will have a list of black stars of the music world including Kanye West with 7 nominations, and his mentor and friend Jay-Z who has earned 5 nominations. Jay-Z's wife Beyoncé has earned 6 nominations. Jay-Z's and Mr. West's video "Otis" from their album "Watched The Throne" is up for video of the year. While Beyoncé "Love on Top" and "Countdown" has 2 nominations. Samuel L. Jackson will host the July 1st show which will be held in the Shirne Auditorium in Los Angeles. Other nominees attending Lil Wayne, Drake, J.Cole, Nikki Minaj and Chris Brown who will both be performing as well. MAZE featuring Frankie Beverly will receive a BET Lifetime Achievement award.
