"ROCKING THE HOUSE!" THE STARS COME OUT TO SUPPORT PRESIDENT OBAMA'S 2ND INAUGRATION - JAN 21, 2013

" HE'S THE MAN, AGAIN!"
PRESIDENT BRACK OBAMA IS SWORN IN FOR HIS 2ND TERM IN FRONT OF THOUSAND IN OUR NATIONS CAPITAL - WASHINGTON D.C. "

WASHINGTON — Beyonce drew a loud cheer at the inauguration Monday even before her impressive rendition of the national anthem. But in the role she played four years ago singing for the president and first lady at the inaugural ball was her "Dreamgirls" co-star Jennifer Hudson.

If President Barack Obama's first inaugural theme seemed to be summed up by Beyonce's "At Last," this time it was Hudson's version of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together."Hudson was among the entertainment at Monday night's inaugural balls, joined by Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys, who modified her hit "Girl on Fire" to sing "He's the president and he's on fire ... Obama's on fire. Obama's on fire."

The crowd at the official Inaugural Ball joined in with the Grammy-nominated fun. anthem "We Are Young."
Earlier in the day, the applause for Beyonce started when she took her place with Jay-Z at the Capitol to watch President Barack Obama take the oath for his second term in office. The two stopped to chat with the Rev. Al Sharpton. James Taylor kicked off the musical performances, strumming his guitar and singing "America the Beautiful." Kelly Clarkson followed with a different arrangement of "My Country `Tis of Thee." Then Beyonce was introduced and the crowd again roared its approval.

Beyonce had a definite fan in Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, who applauded eagerly after she finished singing the national anthem. She offered R&B-esque vocal riffs as she sang on and the crowd seemed to love it, cheering loudly as she finished. Clarkson, too, hit high notes. Beyonce may have been the star musical attraction, but she had plenty of company from Hollywood at the Capitol on Monday. Katy Perry and John Mayer sat side-by-side, with Perry in an orange-striped coat and wide hat, and Mayer in dark sunglasses. Singer-songwriter Ke$ha was there, too.

People flocked to the colorful pop star, snapping photos. And Perry did the same, taking shots of "Girls" actress and daughter of news anchor Brian Williams, Allison Williams.
Actress Eva Longoria was seated on the platform outside the Capitol after making an appearance at a Kennedy Center performance Sunday night. Perry sang at the children's concert the night before.
Former Boston Celtics great Bill Russell was in the crowd, too, along with actor Marlon Wayans.

" SUPERWOMAN AT THE SUPER BOWL " BEYONCE IS CONFIRMED TO PERFORM AT THE 2013 NFL SUPER BOWL IN NEW ORLEANS, FEB 3, 2013

" SHE IS ON!!! "

It's official! Beyonce will perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. After the AP broke the story with an anonymous source, the singer took to her blog to confirm the gig in a decidedly Beyonce manner: She posted a photo of her face with eyeblack featuring the words "Feb. 3 2013." That, of course, is the date of Super Bowl XLVII. Last year, Madonna teamed up with M.I.A., Nicki Minaj and LMFAO for a somewhat chaotic halftiME performance (M.I.A. notoriously showed the camera her middle finger). A source familiar with the Super Bowl told The Associated Press the Grammy-winning diva will take the stage at the halftime show on Feb. 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because that person wasn't authorized to publicly reveal the information. The official announcement is expected Wednesday, the source said. Beyonce, whose pop and R&B hits include "Crazy in Love," "Irreplaceable" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," has won 16 Grammy Awards. The 31-year-old sang the national anthem at the 2004 Super Bowl in her hometown of Houston when the New England Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers.

" JAY-Z AND BEYONCE THROW $ 40,000 A PLATE FUND RAISER FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA IN NYC "

Jay-Z & Beyonce spent Tuesday night partying and raising campaign money with President Obama.  Check out the words they all had for each other while chillin' at the 40/40 club inside.Over at Jay's 40/40 Club in Manhatan, President Obama kicked it with The Carters--after his taping of "Letterman" and another fundraising dinner at the Waldorf Astoria. The hip hop power couple helped raise $4 million for POTUS' Presidential campaign at the $40,000/ticket fundraising dinner, and it was pretty obvious the mutual admiration Mr. President and The Carters have for each other. Bey introduced POTUS saying,
”I can’t tell you how proud we are to host tonight’s event with President Obama.  We believe in his vision.” And a snippet of the President's remarks where he joked about being a lot like Jay--they both have daughters and both of their wives are more popular than them:
Thank you. Thank you. (Applause.) Thank you. Well, it is wonderful to see all of you. I’m so grateful for all your support. Let me just begin by saying to Jay and Bey, thank you so much for your friendship. We are so grateful. Michelle and Malia and Sasha are mad at me because they are not here. (Laughter.) That doesn’t usually happen. Usually they’re like, we’re glad you’re going — we don’t need to go. But every time they get a chance to see these two they are thrilled, partly because they are just both so generous, particularly to my kids. And Malia and Sasha just love both of them. Beyoncé couldn’t be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise — (applause) — and has so much talent. And Jay-Z now knows what my life is like. (Laughter.) We both have daughters, and our wives are more popular than we are. (Laughter and applause.) So we’ve got a little bond there. (Laughter.) It’s hard, but it’s okay. It’s okay. (Laughter.) Sweet!

BONUS: President Obama's campaign is launcing their Runway To Win fundraiser again where fashion designers have made Pro-Obama gear to be sold for fundraising money.  Beyonce & her mom, Tina, designed Obama baby onesies from House of Dereon (of course) that retail for $65 each. SWEET!!!

Nix the flags and the podium. Cue the opulent 18-foot tower of gold-bottled French champagne. When President Obama addresses an elite roster of hipsters and multimillionaires, including hosts Beyoncé and Jay-Z, in New York tonight, he will do so next to a custom-designed tower of $800-per-bottle champagne that dominates the main room at Jay-Z’s 40/40 nightclub. The 350-bottle champagne tower — designed by Jeffrey Beers — is a monument to Jay-Z’s favorite bubbly, Armand de Brignac, which is known colloquially by rappers, clubgoers and connoisseurs as Ace of Spades because of its gold-spade label. “It’s floor-to-ceiling gold bottles in the entire space. It’s beautiful — breathtaking,” a rep for the Flatiron District hot spot told The Post. “It’s the first thing you see when you walk in.”

"MADE IN AMERICA FESTIVAL" JAY-Z SHOWS HIS LOVE FOR PHILLY ALONG WITH OTHER BIG NAMES IN THE BUSINESS

" PHILDELPHIA STATE OF MIND "

The event is the first of its kind for the entrepreneurial Jay-Z, who is married to superstar Beyonce and owns a music management company, fashion line, nightclub and restaurant; he's also a co-owner of the Brooklyn Nets. "Since you were so good to me, Philly, I'm going to be good to you tonight, Philly," Jay-Z yelled. Rappers Pusta T and Big Sean hit the stage, and Kanye West followed, receiving an electrifying roar from the crowd. They performed a medley of hits, such as "Mercy," "Dance" and "Can't Tell Me Nothing." Jay-Z also brought out his former protΘgΘs and Philadelphians Freeway, Chris and Neff, as well as Memphis Bleek. Common, 2 Chainz and Swizz Beatz also made appearances. The scene was colorful and energetic, as thousands of music fans shifted from the three stages on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to watch Skrillex, D'Angelo, Passion Pit, Janelle Monae, Calvin Harris and 10 other acts. Sunday's line-up includes Pearl Jam, Run DMC, Odd Future and Drake, who was in the crowd Saturday night. The festival is being filmed as a documentary and will be directed by Ron Howard. Proceeds from the ticketed event will benefit United Way chapters. Jay-Z closed the night with West, performing the smash hit "...In Paris." Then fireworks blasted.

" KANYE , JAY & BEY AND MANY MORE RACK UP! "

" 2102 BET AWARDS WAS  GOOD AND I MEAN REALLY GOOD! "

The BET Awards didn't begin with a bang but an extended bleep, as the censor police worked overtime during a performance by Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music group, Nicki Minaj and Samuel L. Jackson and Spike Lee's parody of Jay-Z and West's hit song "... In Paris." There were extended moments of muted silence as West, Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz kicked off the show with a performance of "Mercy" (though not all the offending words were bleeped out). Moments later, Jackson, the show's host, was joined by Lee as they did their rendition of the West-Jay-Z hit, to laughs."Two distinguished Morehouse men," Lee joked after the performance, referencing the alma mater of the two.

West and Jay-Z won the ceremony's first award; at first, West arrived onstage alone, and alluded to his many awards-show mishaps."I wish Jay-Z was here to say something politically correct for me," he said, before his mentor came to the stage. Other early winners included  Beyonce and Chris Brown for best male R&B artist, his second consecutive win in the category. Kevin Hart — who hosted the awards last year — also won for best actor, Big Sean was named best new artist and Wale and Miguel's smooth hit "Lotus Flower Bomb" won best collaboration.
